Shaker Dressing Balls
breads
3/4 each stick butter
2 teaspoon chopped parsley
7 cup stale bread crumbs
1 each beaten egg
1 teaspoon pepper
1 tablespoon poultry seasoning
2 1/2 tablespoon chopped celery
1 each chopped onion
2 cup chicken broth
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon seasoned salt
Cook celery, parsley, and onion, in butter until tender. Add bread crumbs, and chicken broth, until consistency is right for molding. Additional chicken broth may be added if necessary. Stir in egg, and add seasonings. Mold into 2 inch balls. Bake at 350 degrees, 20 minutes. Serve immediately. Some corn bread in the bread crumbs adds additional flavor.
Yield: 10 servings
