Shaker Meringue For Pies

3 each egg whites
6 tablespoon sugar
1/8 teaspoon salt
Add salt to egg whites and beat until soft peaks form. Add sugar, 1 tablespoon at a time, beating after each addition. Continue beating until peaks are stiff and glossy, but not dry. Spread meringue over pie and bake at 375 degrees, until light brown, about 10-12 minutes.
