Shaker Mint Sauce

1 cup sugar
1/2 cup water
2 tablespoon corn syrup
1 single essence of peppermint
1 single food coloring

Mix sugar, water, and corn syrup, in sauce pan. Cook 20 minutes. Add peppermint to taste, and food coloring. Store in refrigerator. Use for mint parfait.

Yield: 12 servings
