Shaker Orange Marmilade Cookies

2 cup flour
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 cup quick rolled oats
1 1/3 cup butter
1 cup sugar
2 each eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/4 cup orange marmilade
1 teaspoon grated orange rind

Combine flour, baking powder, and salt. Stir in oats. Set aside. Cream butter and sugar until smooth. Add eggs and vanilla. Beat until light and fluffy. Stir in flour mixture, marmilade, and orange rind. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto well greased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees, 12-15 minutes, or until lightly browned around the edges. Cool, and ice with Shaker Orange glaze.

Yield: 24 servings
