Shaker Pecan Cluster Cookies

1 each egg white
3/4 cup brown sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 cup pecan halves
Beat egg white and sugar until mixture is light and sugar is dissolved. Add nuts. Toss egg white mixture with nuts until they are thoroughly coated. Drop by spoonful onto greased and floured cookie sheet, dropping about 3 pecan halves to each cookie. Preheat oven to 350 degrees for 10 minutes. Put cookie sheet in oven and turn off heat. Let cookies sit in oven for 50 minutes. Store in tightly covered container.
