Shaker Praleen Chip

1 1/2 cup granulated sugar
3/4 cup nuts, chopped

Melt sugar slowly. When melted add nuts, and let cook until caramel colored. Pour onto marble slab and let cool until cold. When cold, pound to a powder, and put in covered jar. This is for use in Shaker Maple Parfay, or in ice cream sundaes.

Yield: 12 servings
