Shaker Sally Lund Bread

2 each eggs, beaten
2 tablespoon butter
1 cup sugar
1 cup milk
3 cup flour
3 teaspoon baking powder

Combine flour and baking powder, and set aside. Cream butter and sugar until fluffy. Add eggs. Add milk, and flour mixture, alternately. Pour batter into an 8 inch skillet, or baking dish. Bake at 350 degrees, 30-35 minutes. Score in wedges, or squares, and top with dollop of butter. Serve hot. This is a delicious breakfast or tea bread.
