Shaker Sour Doughfeeding Sour Dough Starter

1 1/2 cup water
1/2 cup sugar
2 cup flour

Combine all ingredients, and mix with stored starter. Let this sit over night, covered lightly with a towel. This is a process called, feeding. It should be done every 4-7 days, if bread is not made. Starter must be used every 2 weeks to renew. If you do not wish to make bread this often, divide starter, and give half of it to a friend, to renew friendship as well as starter.
