Shaker Steamed Christmas Bread

2 each eggs
2 each bananas
1 each peeled apple, chopped
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
1/4 teaspoon ginger
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/2 each stick butter
1 1/4 cup sugar
1 1/2 cup flour
1 1/2 cup raisins

In blender, combine first 9 ingredients. In bowl, cut butter into sugar, and stir in mixture from blender. Coat raisins with flour, to prevent them from clumping together, and add to bowl. Mix thoroughly. Pour batter into 3 small loaf pans and cover with foil. Place in a large cooking pot. Fill pot with enough water to come half way up sides of pans. Cover pot and steam, in 325 degree oven, for 2 hours. When finished cooking, invert pans and remove loaves. Freezes well. If desired, 3 empty number 303 cans can be used instead of small loaf pans. If using cans for baking, when bread is done, open closed end of cans and push out bread.
