SOMBRERO PIZZA (Italian Sauce Mix)

1 lb ground beef
1/2 cup onion, chopped
2 cup italian sauce, thawed
1 can green chilies, 4oz
1 teaspoon parsley
8 oz cheddar cheese, 2 cups
2 each tomatoes, sliced
2 each 12 inch pizza crusts

In skillet cook ground beef and onion till meat is browned. Drain off fat. Stir in Italian Sauce, chilie peppers which have been rinsed, seeded, and chopped, and parsley. Cover, simmer 10 minutes. Spread prepared pizza crusts with meat mixture. Top with tomatoes and grated cheese. Bake at 425 degrees, 12-15 minutes. Sprinkle shreaded lettuce atop pizza.

Yield: 6 servings
