SPOON BREAD MEAT PIE: (Stew Meat Mix)

2 cup stew meat broth
1 tablespoon corn starch
2 tablespoon cold water
2/3 cup mayonnaise
1 1/2 cup stew meat mix
1 1/2 cup potatoes, cooked cubed
1 cup carrots, cooked, sliced
1/2 cup onion, chopped
1 cup american cheese, grated, 4oz
1 tablespoon pimiento, chopped
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 single spoon bread topper

In saucepan, heat Stew Meat broth, covered, till thawed. Measure 1 cup broth and set aside, for use in spoon bread topper. Combine corn starch and water. Stir into broth remaining in saucepan. Cook and stir till thickened and bubbly. Blend in mayonnaise. Add Stew Meat Mix, potatoes, carrots, onion, cheese, pimiento, and salt. Heat through. Turn into a greased, 2 quart casserole, and add spoon bread topper. Bake at 400 degress, 40 minutes, or till golden.
