Spoon Hot Rolls

1 pkg active dry yeast
2 cup warm water
1 1/2 each sticks melted butter
1/4 cup sugar
1 each egg, beaten
4 cup self rising flour

Dissolve yeast in warm water. Cream sugar and melted butter until creamy. Add egg and mix thoroughly. Add yeast to creamed mixture. Add flour and stir until well blended. If self rising flour is not available, add 1 teaspoon baking powder, 1/2 teaspoon salt, and 1/4 teaspoon baking soda, for each cup of flour used. Pour batter into 24 well greased muffin tin cups. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes.

Yield: 24 servings
