Tye Beef

3 lb roast, boneless
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup soy sauce
6 each buds garlic
3 each onions

Place all ingredients, except roast, in large zip lock bag. Knead bag slightly to combine. Add roast. Marinate in refrigerator 8 hours turning bag once every hour. When roast is removed from bag, sprinkle with sesami seeds if desired. Soak mesquite chips in water 6-8 hours. When ready to grill roast pour marinade in small pan or metal can and place in coals. Together with the saturated mesquite chips they will produce a rich grilled flavor in the roast. Grill roast to desired doneness.
