WHOLE WHEAT BISCUIT CRACKERS: (Hearty Wheat Master Mix)

2 1/2 cup hearty wheat master mix
1/2 teaspoon cream of tartar
3/4 cup buttermilk

In medium mixing bowl stir together, Hearty Wheat Master Mix, and cream of tartar. Add buttermilk. Stir with fork, just till dough follows fork around bowl. Turn out onto lightly floured pastry board. Knead about 6 strokes. Roll dough to 1/4 inch thickness. Cut with floured, 2 1/2 inch biscuit cutter. Place on ungreased baking sheet. Bake at 350 degrees, 20 minutes, or till lightly browned. Split biscuits with sharp knife. Place cut side up on baking sheet. Dry in 300 degree oven, 15-20 minutes. Makes about 3 1/2 dozen biscuit cracker halves.
