WW: GREEK CINNAMON CHICKEN

1 tablespoon olive oil
2 each onions, chopped
4 teaspoon minced garlic in a jar
6 each chicken breasts, 4oz
1 can diced tomatoes, 14 1/2oz
1/4 cup dry white wine
2 each bay leaves
1 each cinnamon stick
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/4 teaspoon salt
6 cup hot cooked rice

Heat oil in a large nonstick skillet. Add onions and garlic, and cook, stirring as needed until vegetables are tender, about 5 minutes. Add chicken, tomatoes, wine, bay leaves, cinnamon stick, ground cinnamon, pepper and salt. Bring to a boil. Reduce the heat and simmer covered, stirring as needed, until chicken is cooked through, about 30 minutes. Discard the bay leaves and cinnamon stick. Serve the rice topped with the chicken mixture.
