Yummy Meat Loaf

3 lb hamburger
1 cup chopped onion
1 cup chopped celery
1 cup chopped green pepper
3 each eggs
2 cup dry bread crumbs
1/2 cup cracker crumbs
1 tablespoon salt
1 tablespoon chili powder
1 teaspoon pepper
1 teaspoon garlic powder
3 cup ketchup
2 tablespoon dry mustard
2 tablespoon brown sugar

Combine hamburger, onion, celery, green pepper, eggs, bread crumbs, cracker crumbs, salt, chili powder, pepper and garlic powder, in large bowl. Mix until well blended. Divide in 2 loaves. Place in 2, lightly greased pans, leaving space around the edge of meat mixture, or put both in 1 large baking pan. Pour enough water around loaves to fill pan 1/3 full. Set aside. In small bowl, combine ketchup, dry mustard and brown sugar. Stir until well blended. Top each loaf with half of the mixture. Bake at 375 degrees, 1 hour. Makes 2 loaves, 1 for freezing.
