Baked Tomatoes And Cheese

6 each ripe tomatoes, peeled
1 1/2 tablespoon melted butter
3 each slices white bread toasted
1/4 cup yellow cheese, grated
1 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Preheat oven to 400 degrees. In small mixing bowl, crumble toast and combine with melted butter. Cut tomatoes into small pieces and place in baking dish. Season tomatoes with salt and pepper. Cover tomatoes with toast. Sprinkle grated cheese over top. Bake at 400 degrees, 30 minutes.

Yield: 6 servings
