Zucchini-Wheat Bread (Bread Machine)

 

1 1/2 Pound (12 slices)

3/4 cup & 1 tablespoon water

1/2 cup Shredded zucchini

2 tablespoons Margarine or butter, softened

1 1/2 cups bread flour

3 cups bread Flour

1 1/2 cups whole wheat flour

2 tablespoons Dry milk

1/4 cup Sugar

1/2 teaspoon Ground cinnamon

1/4 teaspoon Ground cloves

1 teaspoon Salt

2 teaspoons Bread machine or quick active dry yeast

1/4 cup Chopped walnuts

 

2 Pound (16 slices)

1 cup water

2/3 cup Shredded zucchini

2 tablespoons Margarine or butter, softened

2 cups bread flour

4 cups bread Flour

2 cups whole wheat flour

2 tablespoons Dry milk

1/3 cup Sugar

3/4 teaspoon Ground cinnamon

1/2 teaspoon Ground cloves

1 teaspoon Salt

2 teaspoons Bread machine or quick active dry yeast

1/3 cup Chopped walnuts

 

Make 1 1/2-Pound Recipe with bread machines that use 3 cups flour, or make 2-Pound Recipe with bread machines that use 4 cups flour.

 

Measure carefully, placing all ingredients except walnuts in bread machine pan in the order recommended by the manufacturer. Add walnuts at the Raisin/Nut signal.

 

Select Whole Wheat or Basic/White cycle. Use Medium or Light crust color. Do not use Delay cycle. Remove baked bread from pan, and cool on wire rack.
