Spinach Dip

 

(From our friend, Sue Lutz, who got this recipe from her mother.)

 

2 - 10 oz box frozen spinach, thawed and WELL drained

1 1/2 C sour cream

1 1/2 C mayonnaise

1 pkg Knorr veg soup mix

1 bunch chopped green onions, top's too (your preference)

1 bunch chopped parsley

Salt and pepper to taste

Garlic powder - light sprinkle or two (optional)

 

Blend it all together.  Watch the spinach as it tends to clump so may need to be separated. Refrigerate.  Serve in hollowed out loaf of wheat, rye, pumpernickel - your choice.  It's excellent and is better if left to sit several hours or overnight before serving.
