Chocolate Lover’s Delight

 

1 box Devils Food cake mix

1 3-oz. small box instant chocolate pudding and pie filling, dry

1 c. melted butter or margarine

1 tsp. vanilla

2 c. sour cream

5 eggs

1 12-oz. pkg. semisweet chocolate chips.

 

Preheat oven to 350F. Mix all ingredients in order listed. Pour into well-greased and floured Bundt pan. Bake 60 minutes. Cool 15 minutes in pan. Remove from pan. Tastes like the classic Tunnel of Fudge cake. ___

Subject: Earthquake Cake

 

Pour 1 c. of coconut in the bottom of a 9"x13" pan that has been sprayed with nonstick cooking spray. Pour 1 c. chopped pecans over coconut. Prepare 1 pkg. German chocolate cake mix according to pkg. directions; pour over nuts in pan and set aside. Then make topping and pour over batter in pan.

 

TOPPING:

1 8oz. pkg. cream cheese

1 stick margarine

1 1lb. box powdered sugar

 

Melt cream cheese and margarine in saucepan. Mix in powdered sugar. Then pour over batter in pan. Bake at 350F for 40 to 50 minutes or until crack forms down center of cake resembling an earthquake.
