Sautéed Mushrooms

 

16 oz sliced mushrooms (white or baby bellas)

1 sweet onion sliced and cut into bite sized pieces

1 Tbsp extra virgin olive oil

1 Tbsp Worcestershire Sauce

1/4 tsp liquid smoke

1/4 tsp salt

1/4 tsp pepper

(1/2 tsp Canadian Steak Seasoning may be used instead of salt and pepper)

 

Heat oil in skillet over medium high heat.  Add mushrooms and onions and sauté, stirring frequently until onions are translucent – about 5 minutes.  Add Worcestershire sauce and liquid smoke, salt and pepper.  Cook 1-2 minutes longer and serve.

 

Serves 6-8
