Bisquick Belvet Crumb-Cake

1 1/2 cup bisquick
1/2 cup sugar
1 each egg
1/2 cup milk
2 tablespoon shortening
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 each topping
1/2 cup flake coconut
1/3 cup packed brown sugar
1/4 cup chopped nuts
3 tablespoon butter, softened
2 tablespoon milk

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease and flour 8 inch square, or 9 inch round, pan. Beat all ingredients except those used for topping in large bowl. Pour into prepared pan. Bake 30 to 35 minutes or until tooth pick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool slightly. Spread topping over cake. Place pan under broiler. Broil 3 inches from heat about 3 minutes or until golden brown.

Yield: 8 servings
