Bisquick Fruit Cobbler

4 cup fresh fruit
1 cup sugar
3/4 cup water
1 tablespoon corn starch
2 tablespoon water
1 tablespoon butter
1 cup bisquick
1 tablespoon sugar
1 tablespoon butter, melted, cooled
1/4 cup milk

Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Heat fruit and 1 cup sugar in sauce pan until sugar dissolves. Stir together corn starch, and water. Stir corn starch mixture into fruit. Heat to boiling stirring constantly. Boil 1 minute. Pour into greased, 2 quart casserole. Dot with 1 tablespoon unmelted butter. Stir remaining ingredients with fork until soft dough forms. Drop by spoonfuls atop fruit. Bake 20 minutes. Serve warm, add whipped cream if desired. (1 1 pound 13oz can, fruit with syrup, can be substituted for fresh fruit if desired. If canned fruit is used, omit 1 cup sugar and 3/4 cup water, which is mixed with fruit from recipe).
