Bisquick, Stuffed Pizza

main dish, meats

1/2 lb bulk italian sausage
1/2 lb ground beef
3 1/3 cup bisquick
3/4 cup cold water
3 cup mozzarella cheese, grated
1 can pizza sauce, 15oz
3 single toppings of choice

Preheat oven to 450 degrees. Grease 13-9 inch baking dish. Cook sausage and ground beef in skillet over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until browned, then drain. Stir Bisquick and water in large mixing bowl until dough forms. Divide dough into 2 parts, 1 part slightly larger than the other. Roll the larger part of the dough into a 16-14 inch rectangle, on pastry board dusted with Bisquick. Fold rectangle crosswise into thirds. Place in center of baking dish, and unfold. Press firmly onto bottom and partially up sides of dish. Sprinkle with 1 cup of cheese, and top with 3/4 cup of pizza sauce, meat mixture, pizza toppings, and 1 1/2 cups cheese. Roll remaining dough into a 13-9 inch rectangle. Fold crosswise into thirds. Place dough on cheese in center of baking dish, and unfold. Press bottom and top crust edges together and pinch to seal. Make small slits in top crust to allow steam to vent. Spread remaining pizza sauce over top crust, and sprinkle with remaining cheese. Bake uncovered, 22-25 minutes, or until edges of crust are golden brown.
