Bisquick, Sweet Buttermilk Pie

1 1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup bisquick
1/3 cup butter, melted
1 cup buttermilk
1 teaspoon vanilla
3 each eggs

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease 9 inch pie plate. Stir together all ingredients in medium mixing bowl, using fork, until blended. Pour into prepared pie plate. Bake 30-35 minutes, or until knife inserted in center, comes out clean. Cool 5 minutes before serving. (If buttermilk is not available, add 2 tablespoons vinegar or lemon juice to scant cup of milk. Wait 5 minutes to allow time for milk to clabber before using).

Yield: 8 servings
