BLENDER: FRENCH ONION SOUP
soups, vegetables
1/2 each stick butter
2 cup onion, chopped
2 cup chicken broth
1 each rib celery, chopped
1 tablespoon parsley
Place onion and 4 tablespoons butter in medium saucepan, and cook covered, over low heat, for 30 minutes. Remove cover last 5 minutes of cooking and brown. Place all ingredients in blender. Blend until smooth, about 30 seconds. Return to saucepan, and heat through. Serve hot. Makes 3 cups.
