BLENDER: MUSHROOM BUTTER SPREAD

1/2 lb mushrooms
1/3 cup butter
1 each stick softened butter
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoon coniac

Cook mushrooms in 1/3 cup butter for 5 minutes. Place cooked mushrooms along with juice from pan, 1 stick butter, pepper, salt, and coniac in blender. Blend until smooth. Chill before use.

Yield: 8 servings
