BLENDER: PURAY OF ONION SOUP

2 each onions, chopped
1 tablespoon butter
1 tablespoon bread crumbs
1 cup warm water
3/4 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon pepper
1 cup chicken broth
1 cup milk

Place onions and butter in medium saucepan, and cook until onions are tender and brown. Place cooked onions, bread crumbs, water, salt, and pepper in blender. Mix until blended. Pour onion mixture in saucepan, and add chicken broth and milk. Heat through. Makes 3 1/2 cups.

Yield: 4 servings
