BLENDER: TARTAR SAUCE

1 each large dill pickle, diced
1 each onion, diced
1 tablespoon capers
1 tablespoon chopped chives
1 each hard boiled egg, quartered
1 cup mayonaise
1 each lemon, juice only
Put mayonaise and lemon juice in mixing bowl. Set aside for later use. Place dill pickle, onion, capers, and chives in blender. Blend 10 seconds, or until mixed and coarsely minced. Add egg. Pulse blender a few times, just enough to mix, but not make a paste. Add egg mixture to mayonaise and lemon juice in bowl. Makes 2 cups.
Yield: 8 servings
