Buck Eyes

candies

1 lb powdered sugar
8 oz creamy peanut butter
1 each stick butter
1 package chocolate chips, 12 oz.;
1/4 each cake of wax

Combine powdered sugar, softened butter and peanut butter. Roll into balls, about the size of large marbles or buck eyes. Insert tooth pick in center of each ball. Arrange balls on tray and keep in freezer 2 hours. Melt chocolate chips and wax together. Using the tooth pick as a handle, dip balls in to chocolate mixture to coat. Place candy on waxed paper until chocolate coating hardens. Store unused peanut butter mixture in refrigerator for several weeks if desired.
