CHINESE PORK CASSEROLE: (Herb Stuffing Mix)

4 cup herb stuffing mix
2 tablespoon butter
1 each egg
1/2 cup water
2 pkg chinese vegetables, 10oz
2 cup cooked pork, diced
1 cup cold water
4 teaspoon corn starch
1 tablespoon soy sauce

Coarsley crush herb stuffing mix. In saucepan, melt butter, then remove from heat. Add crushed herb stuffing mix. In small bowl, beat egg and 1/2 cup water together. Pour over stuffing mix in saucepan. Toss mixture well to combine. Press stuffing mixture into bottom and up onto sides of 1 1/2 quart casserole. Bake at 425 degrees, 10 minutes. Meanwhile, cook Chinese style frozen vegetables, according to package directions, then add pork. In small bowl, blend 1 cup water, corn starch, and soy sauce. Add to vegetable pork mixture. Cook and stir till mixture is thickened and bubbly, then cook and stir 1-2 minutes longer. Spoon hot vegetable pork into baked stuffing in casserole to serve.
