Chocolate Pudding

1 cup sugar
2 tablespoon corn starch
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 oz unsweetened chocolate
2 cup milk
1 each egg, beaten
2 tablespoon butter
1 teaspoon vanilla
In sauce pan blend dry ingredients. Add milk and 2 squares unsweetened chocolate. Cook and stir over medium heat until thickened and bubbly. Cook and stir 2 minutes more. Remove from heat. Stir small amount of cooked mixture into the beaten egg. Pour egg mixture into sauce pan. Cook and stir 2 minutes more. Remove from heat. Add butter and vanilla. Pour into bowl, chill.
Yield: 5 servings
