Corn Bread

1 1/2 cup corn meal
1/2 cup flour
4 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup milk
1 each egg
1/4 cup oil
1/2 cup sugar

Mix corn meal, flour, baking powder and salt. Add milk and egg, mix well. Add oil and sugar. Mix thoroughly. Pour batter in 8 inch square baking pan which has been greased and floured. Bake at 425 degrees 25 minutes.

Yield: 12 servings
