Cranberry Jam

4 1/2 cup fresh cranberries, chopped
4 cup sugar
1 pkg sure jell

Sterilize jars and lids. Combine cranberries and sugar in a 6 quart cooking pot. Bring to a full rolling boil over high heat, stirring occasionally. Stir in Sure Jell. Return to a full rolling boil. Boil for 1 minute, stirring constantly. Remove from heat and skim off foam. Fill jars, leaving 1/8 inch head space. Wipe jar rims and adjust lids and rings. Invert jars for 5 minutes for jars to seal, then turn upright. Let cool completely at room temperature. After 1 hour, check seals. Makes 4 cups.
