Cranberry Nut Pie

1 1/4 cup fresh cranberries
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup nuts, chopped
1 each egg
1/2 cup white sugar
1/2 cup flour
1/3 cup butter, melted
1 each pie crust, 9 inch

Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Line a 9 inch pie platewith unbaked pie crust. Layer cranberries on bottom of pie plate. Sprinkle with brown sugar and nuts. Beat egg in a medium mixing bowl until thick. Gradually add sugar, beating until thoroughly blended. Stir in flour and melted butter, and blend well. Pour over cranberries. Bake 45 minutes. Cut into wedges and serve with ice cream.

Yield: 8 servings
