Creamy Sauce Mix

1 1/3 cup powdered milk
3/4 cup flour
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup butter, 1 stick

In medium mixing bowl, combine milk powder, flour, and 1 teaspoon salt. Cut in butter until mixture is crumbley. Transfer mixture to storage container, refrigerate until needed. Makes 3 cups.Medium White Sauce: In saucepan combine 1/2 cup creamy sauce mix, and 1 cup cold water. Cook and stir till bubbly. Cook and stir 2 minutes longer. Makes 1 cup.Cheese Sauce: In saucepan, combine 1/2 cup creamy sauce mix, and 1 cup cold water. Cook and stir till bubbly. Add 1 cup shreaded American cheese, and stir till melted. Makes 1 1/4 cups.

Yield: 60 servings
