Devil's Food Cake

2 cup cake flour
1 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup cocoa
1 each stick butter
2 each eggs, beaten
2 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 cup milk

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Sift flour, cocoa, cinnamon, salt, and baking powder together. Set aside. Combine butter, brown sugar, granulated sugar, and eggs, and beat well. Add vanilla to egg mixture. Add flour and milk, alternately, to egg mixture, beating after each addition till mixture is smooth. Pour into 2 greased and floured 9 inch round cake pans. Bake at 350 degrees, 25-30 minutes. Cover tops and sides of layers with frosting.
