Double Layer Chocolate Pie

4 oz cream cheese, softened
1 tablespoon milk or half and half
1 tablespoon sugar
1 pkg coolwhip, 12oz, thawed
1 each pie crust, 9 inch
1 1/2 cup milk or half and half
2 pkg instant chocolate pudding

Mix cream cheese, 1 tablespoon milk, and sugar, in large bowl with wire wisk until smooth. Gently stir in 1 1/2 cups CoolWhip. Spread on bottom of chocolate flavored crumb crust. Pour 1 1/2 cups milk into bowl. Add pudding mixes, (4 serving size), and beat with wire wisk 1 minute. Mixture will be thick. Stir 2 cups Coolwhip into pudding. Spread over cream cheese layer. Refrigerate 4 hours, or until set. Garnish with remaining Coolwhip, if desired.

Yield: 8 servings
