ELECTRIC ROASTER: TRADITIONAL BREAD PUDDING

6 each slices white bread
1 1/2 cup milk
1 can condensed milk, 13oz
1/2 cup white sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar
4 each eggs
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
1/2 teaspoon almond extract
1 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
1/4 cup chopped nuts

Remove roaster from heat welland set aside. Preheat covered heat well to 300 degrees. Spray roaster, which has been set aside. Tear day old bread into bite sized pieces. Arrange evenly in bottom of roaster. In large saucepan combine milk, condensed milk, white sugar, and brown sugar. Bring to a simmer, stirring constantly. In mixing bowl, beat eggs. Slowly pour beaten eggs into hot milk mixture in saucepan. Add almond extract and pumpkin pie spice. Pour hot mixture in saucepan over bread in roaster. Blend milk mixture into bread by pressing with back of spoon. Top with nuts. Cover roaster and return to hot heat well. Bake 40-50 minutes, or until set.
