Fresh Cranberry Relish

3/4 cup apple or orange juice
2/3 cup sugar
1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1 each dash ground cloves
1 pkg cranberries (12 oz pkg)
1/2 cup light raisens
1/2 cup chopped pecans
In a medium saucepan, combine juice, cinnamon, nutmeg, and cloves. Cook and stir over medium heat until sugar dissolves. Add cranberries and raisens. Bring to boiling; reduce heat. Cook and stir for 3 to 4 minutesor til cranberries pop. Remove from heat. Stir in pecans. Transfer to a serving bowl. Cover and chill thoroughly until serving time. Makes 8 1/2 cup servings.
Yield: 8 servings
