Fresh Fruit Crisp

1/4 cup quick oats
1/4 cup brown sugar
2 tablespoon flour
2 tablespoon nuts, chopped
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
2 tablespoon butter
4 cup sliced, peeled, fruit
4 teaspoon sugar

In small bowl stir together, oats, brown sugar, flour, nuts, cinnamon, salt, and nutmeg. Cut in butter till mixture is crumbley, set aside. Divide fresh fruit, (peaches, pears, or apples), between 4 1 cup sized casseroles, or place in a 1 quart casserole. Sprinkle sugar over fruit. Cover fruit with oat mixture. Bake at 325 degrees, 45-50 minutes, or until fruit is tender when tested with a fork. Serve warm with vanilla ice cream, or whipped cream if desired.
