Garlic Cheese Grits

6 cup water
2 teaspoon salt
1 1/2 cup grits
1 tablespoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon cayeen pepper
1 each stick butter
3 each eggs, beaten
1 lb grated cheddar cheese

Bring the water to a boil. Add the salt and slowly stir in the grits. Cook according to the directions on the box. Add the rest of the ingredients, and stir until the butter melts. Then pour into a buttered baking dish. Bake at 350 degrees, 1 hour and 15 minutes, or until the top is puffy and golden.

Yield: 12 servings
