Granny Gert's Meat Balls

2 lb hamburger
2 each slices bread, cubed
1 each egg
1 cup spaghetti sauce
1 cup parmesan cheese
1 tablespoon salt
1 teaspoon pepper
2 tablespoon dry parsley

Combine all ingredients and mix thoroughly. Shape in to balls. Roll meat balls in cracker or bread crumbs. Place meat balls on greased broiler pan and broil 20 minutes, at 375 degrees. (If desired, allow meat balls . to cool, package in zip lock bags of 24 meat balls each, and freeze for later use.) If meat balls are not frozen, place in lightly greased 3 quart casserole and cover with spaghetti sauce. Bake covered at 350 degrees 30 minutes.

Yield: 16 servings
