Hearty Wheat Master Mix

8 cup all purpose white flour
2 cup whole wheat flour
1/2 cup wheat germ
1/3 cup baking powder
1/4 cup packed brown sugar
1 tablespoon salt
2 cup solid crisco shortening
In large mixing bowl, combine flours, wheat germ, baking powder, brown sugar, and salt. Cut in shortening till mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Store in air tight container, at room temperature for up to six weeks. Makes 12-14 cups.
