Homemade Play Dough

2 cup flour
1 cup salt
1 cup water

Combine flour and salt. Add water. Mix thoroughly with electric mixer until dough forms a ball. Turn on to bread board and knead several minutes. Play dough will be smoothe and pliable and not stick to hands. Additional flour may be used while kneading. Store in refrigerator. Play dough may be rolled flat, cut in to shapes and baked if desired. Place on cookie sheet and bake 1 half hour for each quarter inch thickness of dough. Set oven to 325 degrees. If air drying method is used, place on screen and let dry for 2 days. If screen is not available, any flat surface that is portable will do.
