HOT CROSS BUNS, (Dough Only)

1 1/4 cup milk
1/2 each stick butter
1 each egg, beaten
1 cup raisins
1 teaspoon salt
1/3 cup sugar
4 cup bread flour
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon ground cloves
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
1 tablespoon active dry yeast

To make this dough recipe use dough cycle of bread maker. At end of cycle remove dough from pan and turn onto lightly floured surface. Divide into 12 equal pieces. Roll into round, slightly flattened buns, and place 2 inches apart on greased baking sheet. Brush with 1 egg mixed with 1 tablespoon water. Bake, at 375 degrees, 16-18 minutes. While buns are still warm drizzle sugar glaze over the top of each bun to form a cross. Sugar glaze: 3/4 cup powdered sugar, 1 tablespoon milk, 1/4 teaspoon almond extract. Combine all ingredients and beat mixture until smooth.
