JELLO: CHRISTMAS POP CORN TEDDY BEAR

18 cup popped pop corn
1 cup light corn syrup
1/2 cup sugar
1 pkg strawberry gelatin, small
1 single jelly beans or gum drops
1 single ribbon, optional

Place pop corn in large greased bowl. Combine corn syrup and sugar in medium sauce pan. Bring to a full rolling boil, stirring constantly. Boil 1 minute, stirring constantly. Remove from heat. Stir in gelatin until dissolved. Pour over pop corn, toss to coat well, and cool 5 minutes. Grease hands well for ease in working with coated pop corn. Form about 2/3 of the pop corn mixture into 2 balls, 1 larger than the other, forming bear's body and head. Shape remaining pop corn into arms, legs, and ears. Attatch to body and head. Use jelly beans or gum drops for eyes and nose. Attatch ribbon bow tie if desired. Makes 1 large teddy bear. To make pop corn balls, prepare pop corn mixture as directed above. Shape into 2 inch balls. Makes about 24 balls.
