JELLO: HOLIDAY POKE CAKE

1 pkg white cake mix, 2 layers
2 cup boiling water
1 pkg any red flavored gelatin 4oz
1 pkg lime gelatin, small
1 each tub cool whip, 8oz

Bake cake, acording to directions on the package, in 2 9 inch layers. Cool completely. Place cake layers, top sides up, in 2 clean 9 inch cake pans, and pierce the cake with a large fork at 1/2 inch intervals. Stir 1 cup of the boiling water into each flavor of gelatin in separate bowls, until completely dissolved. Carefully pour the red gelatin over 1 cake layer, and the lime gelatin over the second cake layer. Refrigerate layers for 3 hours. Dip 1 cake pan in warm water for 10 seconds, then unmold onto a serving plate. Spread with about 1 cup of cool whip. Unmold second cake layer and place the second cake layer on top of the first cake layer. Frost top and sides of cake with remaining cool whip. Refrigerate at least 1 hour, or until ready to serve. Decorate as desired.
