JELLO: ICE CREAM SHOP PIES

1 1/2 cup cold milk
1 pkg pudding, any flavor
1 each tub coolwhip, 8oz
1 single ice cream shop ingredients
1 each crumb crust, 9 inch

Instant pudding and coolwhip provide the base for these 7 freezer pies, along with a variety of stir in ingredients to create a variety of pies. Pour milk into a large bowl. Add the pudding mix and beat with a wire whisk for 2 minutes. Gently stir in the coolwhip and ice cream shop ingredients, then spoon into crust. Freeze for 6 hours, or over night, until firm. Let stand at room temperature or in a refrigerator for 15 minutes, or until the pie can be cut easily before serving. Variations. To make Cookies And Cream pie. Use vanilla pudding, a chocolate crumb crust, and stir in 1 cup of chopped Oreos with the coolwhip. To make Rocky Road pie. Use chocolate pudding, a chocolate crumb crust, and stir in 1/3 cup each, chocolate chips, miniature marshmallows, and chopped nuts, with the coolwhip. Serve with chocolate sauce if desired. To make Peanut Butter pie. Use vanilla pudding, a graham cracker crumb crust, reduce milk to 1 cup, and add 1/2 cup of peanut butter with the pudding mix. Serve with chocolate sauce and chopped peanuts if desired. To make toffee bar crunch pie, use French Vanilla or Vanilla pudding, and a graham cracker crumb crust. Spread 1/3 cup butter scotch sauce onto bottom of crust before filling. Fold in 1 cup chopped chocolate covered English toffee bars, (about 6 bars), with the cool whip. Garnish with additional chopped toffee bars if desired. To make strawberry banana split pie, use French Vanilla or Vanilla pudding, reduce milk to 3/4 cup, and add 3/4 cup mashed sweetened strawberries with milk. Use a vanilla crumb crust, and line bottom of crust with banana slices before filling. Garnish with cool whip, marischeno cherries, and chopped nuts. To make nut cracker pie, use Butter pecan pudding, and a graham cracker crumb crust. Fold in, 1 cup chopped mixed nuts, with cool whip. To make peppermint stick pie, use French Vanilla or Vanilla pudding, and a chocolate crumb crust. Fold in, 1/2 cup crushed peppermint stick candy, 1/2 cup chocolate chips, and 2 teaspoons peppermint extract, with cool whip. Top each slice of pie with 1 or 2 scoops of your favorite ice cream, as a finishing touch.
