MARINATED ITALIAN SHRIMP ON-A-STICK (Italian Sauce Mix)

12 oz fresh, shelled shrimp
1 lb unshelled shrimp,
1 can pineapple chunks, large
2 tablespoon brown sugar
1 cup italian sauce
1 teaspoon prepared mustard
1 each green pepper, cubed

Thaw shrimp if frozen. For marinade: drain pineapple chunks, reserving 1/4 cup syrup. To syrup, add Italian Sauce, (thawed), brown sugar, and mustard. Place shrimp in container and pour marinade over shrimp. Marinate in refrigerator, 1 1/2 hours, turning at least once. Drain shrimp, reserving marinade. On each of 4 skewers, alternate marinated shrimp, pineapple chunks, and green pepper cubes. Broil on greased pan, 4 inches from heat, 14 minutes, turning and brushing with sauce. Serve over hot cooked rice. Heat and serve remaining marinade if desired.
